Firsts and Lasts

Today is the first day of school for Josh this year. As always, the first day of school is bittersweet. Time for a new season … and it means that the one before has passed.
I am thankful for the young man he is and I’m praying he will make a difference today … and everyday. He is a joy to my heart!

I’m also thinking of a little man that was mine for a season but is now making someone else a happy mama. He came. He smiled. He left an impression on our hearts. I’m finally able – without so many tears that I can’t type – to post some pictures of the last day he was in our home. We stopped by The Ranch for him to say his “goodbyes” to Natalie … then we waited to say ours.

Oh the journey of firsts and lasts …

Here’s a word you can take to heart and depend on: Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. I’m proof -Public Sinner Number One! of someone who could never have made it apart from sheer mercy!!
